Question 1

Can I edit PDF text online without logging in or signing up?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can edit PDF text directly and preview side-by-side Word conversions immediately without creating an account or providing an email.

Question 2

Does the PDF editor support dynamic text reflow and formatting?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our smart document engine detects font styles, weights, and layout geometry, dynamically wrapping and reflowing text like Microsoft Word.

Question 3

Is it available globally for international formats and govt forms?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it fully supports international document standards (Letter, A4, Legal, Resumes, Invoices) as well as specific identity and government form formats.

Question 4

How do I resize a passport photo to UPSC requirements (square, 350×350 to 1000×1000px, 20-240 KB)?

Accepted Answer

Use the Govt Verifier tool on GetReadyJob.com. Select the UPSC Photo preset (square, 350×350 to 1000×1000px, 20–240 KB), upload your photo, and click 'Resize & Download'. The tool automatically compresses to the highest quality within the KB limit — 100% in your browser, no upload. Note: SSC CGL/CHSL applications now require the photo to be captured LIVE during the application itself, so this tool is best used for SSC Signature and other bundle documents rather than an SSC photo upload.

Question 5

How do I add a Name and Date of Photo (DOP) strip to a passport photo for UPSC/SSC?

Accepted Answer

Open the Govt Verifier tool and go to the 'Name / DOP Strip' tab. Upload your photo, type your full name and the date of photo, choose single-line or two-line layout, and download. The tool renders an SSC/UPSC-standard black strip with crisp white text at 3× resolution — no server, fully local.

Question 6

How do I add a purpose watermark to a document to prevent misuse?

Accepted Answer

Use the Fraud Seal tool on GetReadyJob.com. Upload your document image, type your purpose text (e.g., 'FOR HDFC HOME LOAN ONLY') and recipient name, choose a watermark colour and opacity, then export. A diagonal repeating watermark is burned into the image along with a tamper-proof authenticity seal containing a unique reference number — all processed locally.

Question 7

How do I black out or blur my Aadhaar number before sharing?

Accepted Answer

Use the Privacy Masker or Govt Verifier Smart Redactor on GetReadyJob.com. Upload your Aadhaar image, select 'Aadhaar Front' to auto-apply standard redaction zones (number, photo, DOB, address), or drag to draw custom zones. Choose Blur or Blackout mode and download the redacted image. No data leaves your device.

Question 8

How do I create a job application document bundle (ZIP) with photo, signature, and identity proof?

Accepted Answer

Open the Doc Packager tool on GetReadyJob.com. Upload your passport photo (auto-resized to 200×230px, 50 KB), signature (140×60px, 20 KB), identity proof, and supporting document. Each file is automatically optimised. Click 'Pack & Download ZIP' to get a structured bundle named 01_PHOTO.jpg, 02_SIGNATURE.jpg, 03_IDENTITY_PROOF, 04_DOCUMENT — ready for any govt portal.

Question 9

Is my document data safe? Are my files uploaded to a server?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the tool. These run entirely in your browser and the file never leaves your device: merge, split, Aadhaar/PAN redaction, the purpose watermark and authenticity seal, the job application ZIP bundle, and standard government photo and signature resizing. These send the file to our processing server, because they need software a browser cannot run: PDF compression, PDF to Word and spreadsheet conversion, and text recognition on scanned PDFs. In that second case the file travels over an encrypted connection, is processed, and is deleted as soon as the result is returned — it is not retained, not backed up and not reviewed by anyone.

Question 10

How do I generate a QR code for a document or link?

Accepted Answer

Open the Privacy Masker tool and switch to the QR Generator tab. Enter a URL, phone number, email, WhatsApp number, or plain text. Choose a size (160–400px) and colour scheme, then download as a high-resolution PNG (3× pixel ratio) ready for printing on posters, banners, or identity cards.

Question 11

Can I create Hindi/Devanagari posters on GetReadyJob?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Poster Studio on GetReadyJob.com supports Hindi/Devanagari fonts including Noto Sans Devanagari, Baloo 2, Hind, Mukta, Rajdhani, and Tiro Devanagari. Use the font script filter in the inspector panel to switch between Latin and Hindi fonts — no extra installation needed.

Question 12

How do I resize an image for Instagram Post, YouTube Thumbnail, or LinkedIn Banner?

Accepted Answer

Use the HD Photo Studio on GetReadyJob.com. Scroll to the 'Social Media Auto-Resizer' section and tap your target platform — Instagram Post (1080×1080), Instagram Story (1080×1920), YouTube Thumbnail (1280×720), LinkedIn Banner (1584×396), Facebook Cover (820×312), or X/Twitter Header (1500×500). The image is instantly resized and exported as PNG at screen resolution.

Question 13

Does GetReadyJob provide GST-compliant tax invoices for paid plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every paid GetReadyJob plan generates a GST-compliant tax invoice with sequential Rule 46 invoice numbering, your GSTIN and billing details, and support for SEZ/LUT-Bond business billing. Credit and debit notes are issued automatically for refunds or corrections under Section 34 of the CGST Act.

Question 14

Is masking my PAN card secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All masking happens 100% locally in your browser — your PAN card, Aadhaar, or ID image is never uploaded to any server, so your sensitive data never leaves your device.

Question 15

Why mask ID numbers on resumes or job applications?

Accepted Answer

Recruiters and portals only need to verify your identity, not store your full PAN/Aadhaar number. Masking hides sensitive digits while keeping the rest of the document readable, protecting you from identity theft and data leaks.

Question 16

Can I mask Aadhaar, PAN, and other ID documents for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Privacy Masker is completely free to use with unlimited local masking — no sign-up, no watermark, and no file-size limit tied to a paid plan.

Question 17

Are the SSC/UPSC/IBPS photo size presets accurate for govt forms?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each preset (SSC 200×230px 20–50 KB, UPSC 350×350 to 1000×1000px square 20–240 KB, IBPS 200×230px, RRB 320×240px 50–100 KB) matches the exact pixel and file-size rules published by the respective recruitment boards, so your upload will not get rejected for size errors. Note: SSC CGL/CHSL now requires the photo to be captured LIVE during the application, so the SSC preset is best used for the Signature and other bundle documents.

Question 18

Is Govt Verifier's Aadhaar/PAN redaction done locally or uploaded to a server?

Accepted Answer

All redaction, resizing, and Name/DOP strip generation happens entirely in your browser using local image processing. No document or photo is ever uploaded anywhere.

Question 19

Do I need to sign up to use the Govt Verifier tool?

Accepted Answer

No sign-up is required. Upload your photo or document, choose a preset, and download the result immediately.

Question 20

What goes inside the Doc Packager job application ZIP bundle?

Accepted Answer

The bundle includes your auto-resized photo, signature, identity proof, and supporting document, named 01_PHOTO.jpg, 02_SIGNATURE.jpg, 03_IDENTITY_PROOF, and 04_DOCUMENT — ready to upload to any SSC/UPSC/IBPS portal.

Question 21

Are documents uploaded to a server when using Doc Packager?

Accepted Answer

No. Every file is optimised and zipped entirely inside your browser. Nothing is transmitted to GetReadyJob's servers or any third party.
